Sandoval Dominick Project Comes to Fruition

State Senator Martin Sandoval (D-11) worked with Cicero Town President Larry Dominick to secure a $4.5 million dollar grant to expand Morton College, in Cicero.

The new 15,000 square foot facility will consist of five learning studios, two adult education classrooms, student lounge space and conference space.

The project took about 2 years to complete and is expected to be ready by the start of the 2016 Fall Semester.

Morton is the second oldest community college in Illinois. The multi-million dollar expansion meets the educational demands in the growing communities of Berwyn, Cicero, Forest View, Lyons, McCook and Stickney.
